My name is Cory (A404115). I am a long timer at ACPS and I am running out of time. I am a great dog: friendly, playful, calm, and housebroken and like other dogs. I am very unique looking and have cute pointy ears. I would like to be adopted ASAP.

I am a good dog that would be so thankful if someone saved me TODAY! 

I am FREE to adopt to a good home! Only $20 license fee applies! I am totally free to the lucky Senior Citizen that adopts me!  I am fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. The reality is if I don’t get adopted soon, I will be in trouble.

They call me SHADOW (A393254). I need a home. A calm, loving home where I won’t be scared. You see, my owner left me at the city shelter because they said they just had “too many” cats. I wonder if they knew that black cats are hard to adopt out at a shelter. I don’t know why….but it is true. I have a beautiful and shiny fur. I am scared being in this cage.

 Sometimes I hide because I get so scared. But if you come to my cage and love on me. I will let you. If you hold me gently in your arms and pet me I will let you. I am very lovable. I am just scared. My previous owner had so many animals that he never paid attention to me. It was such a chaotic household that a lot of commotion scares me. I need a calm environment. Its not that I wouldn’t get along with other cats; it’s just that I cannot go to a home with multiple cats. I don’t want to be scared anymore.  I just want to be out of this cage and be loved.

My name is Havana (A403863). I am a very sweet girl! I have been at the shelter a long time and running out of time. I am such a good girl and cute too! I am still a puppy, friendly, like other dogs, children and all humans!

I love to play fetch! I am energetic, playful and well, what you would expect from a puppy. I have a scar on my neck because my previous owner didn’t care for me very well and weren’t very nice.  So I am looking for a forever home now where I can be loved and cared for. Even though, my previous owners weren’t nice; that hasn’t changed the way I feel about humans. I still love them. I like to be pet and can “sit” (for just a few seconds! But I can still do it!) & love to lie on your lap if you let me. I am a fast learner and will listen to commands if you teach me!

I want a chance to a new life. I am still a young dog and would LOVE to be given a chance to be in a forever home!

They call me Bullet (A394165). Why? Have you heard my story? I was found at a convenient store fighting for my life because someone shot me in the chest. ACPS came and saved me. I survived. But I couldn’t walk for a while because my spine was damaged and I had to have a wheelchair. All the news reporters featured me on TV & told my story. Everyone has been so nice.

I have a will to live and I would like to go to a great home and be HAPPY!

Now I am able to walk again, I am still working on maintaining my balance, but I can WALK. Thank you everyone for helping me! I need further help now….I need a home. The news reporters have left and all the people that came to see me have disappeared. And now I am left at the city shelter in a cage. I use to get so much attention; now I am all alone.

I am a very strong, housebroken friendly dog. I am a Mastiff mix so I am heavy in weight but not very tall. I like people. I need some work getting along with other dogs. I can learn to like other dogs. I am in a shelter environment right now and really would like to get out of here and get more socialization. I need a committed adopter. I have come so far and been through so much and I just want another chance. I deserve it.

Panda is a 2 year old female blue Pit bull terrier mix that needs a home NOW. She is very beautiful, friendly, and gets a long with most dogs. She is housebroken and well behaved. Panda’s ID # is A392070
Pandar is very good in her crate. She deserves to live out her life. Please spread the word and save her. She is currently located in the I wing and will be moved to the G wing at ACPS 2020 Forest Street Monday-Saturday 10-4pm. You have to request to see her by ID#. She no longer has a cold, but due to little room being available at the shelter she is not currently in adoptions. But available for adoption online.
Panda is spayed, micro-chipped, city licensed and updated on vaccinations.

Tommy is a long timer and needs a home too per June. We don’t want to wait when he is on his last week or last days! Tommy is just a baby. 
Tommy ID# A392275 a Lab Mix Neutered Male. He is great with other dogs and due to his age would probably be ok and easily trained to get use to cats. Tommy is very calm for a puppy, easy going, good in crate and very happy. He doesn’t chew up things, but likes to play. He would do WONDERFUL in a family with children because he is a great pup!
Tommy recently went to a ACPS event and did very well. He is well socialized, housebroken and good in his crate. Tommy needs a home soon he has been at the shelter for over 7 weeks. Please spread the word. He is located at ACPS 2020 Forest Street Monday-Saturday from 10-4pm. Please help Tommy; he has already spent his young years caged up.
